A happy Mother’s Day to all you incredible mothers out there! Being a mom is truly the most important job in the world. Trust me — I have two children of my own, and I absolutely love every moment I spend with them. I wouldn't trade my time with them for anything.

But it wasn’t always that way.

For a long time, I felt like I was giving them the short end of the stick. Even though I was physically present, I wasn’t truly there — not the way I wanted to be. I was exhausted. After a full day at work, I would come home only to face a long list of chores and responsibilities. It was a never-ending cycle that left me drained and disconnected.

That’s when I realized something important: I needed help.

When I first started Girl Friday, my focus was on helping people manage their homes. I wanted to take care of everything in and around the house, so when clients walked through the door, they could simply relax, knowing it was all handled. And while I still love that vision, Girl Friday has grown into something even bigger.

It feels like the norm—and sometimes, we even wear it as a badge of honor, proud of our ability to multitask and handle it all.
